We were a bit skeptical on entering this place as this was a bar cum restaurant. But the server assured us that this is a family place too, and offered us a corner table. And soon enough, we did find other families pouring in.
This restaurant is divided into two sections, open air and AC. The AC one is quite spacious, and comfy too. LCD TVs adorning the wall, mini chandeliers on the roof, a brick style paint on the wall and glass facade as well. Good.
We called for a Chicken Manchow Soup. INR 140. Very delicious as Manchow soups go. Shikha loved it.
Next we called for a Roti ki Tokri - INR 140, Chicken Lasooni - INR 235 and Chicken Kolhapuri - INR 245.
The Roti ki Tokri had five varieties of rotis - Butter roti, Butter naan, Lachchha paratha, Missi Roti and Khasta naan. All good.
The Chicken Lasooni was a bowlful of chicken in garlicky yellow gravy. The chicken pieces were butter soft, though I wish the garlic portion should have been atleast twice as more.
The Chicken Kolhapuri was a red fiery gravy, loaded with capsicum, and tasted equally well. But here, woefully, the chicken pieces were not that soft and I suspect artificial colouring was used in the gravy.
So it was kind of mixed reactions.
