A hidden gem.
Its actually the innocuousness of certain eateries that sets off an appeal to them. They glow in a halo which is visible only to a chosen few. Its like you cannot choose to discover them, you have to be worthy enough to be discovered by them.
Are such places easily visible? Nopes. Located on some main road? Nah. Do they advertise? Not at all. Do they have a website? Lolz.
Sadichha is located in the bylanes of Government Colony, bang opposite MIG Cricket Grounds. And even at that, its a miss and blink affair. A no frills place, but by no means down market. It attracts a decent crowd, and is frequented by families often. The employees are friendly, a manager is visible hovering around and there's nary a dull moment.

One more reason why this place charms me is that I am a thali person. And seeing a range of thalis (surprisingly not listed on their menu card on zomato) available simply warmed the cockles of my heart.
Prawns thali is my favorite. The thali of mine had prawns curry. And sukke prawns. What it meant was a very generous portion of cooked prawns, mixed with shredded coconut and some masala. Yummylicious! There was also white rice and two chapattis. Plus the daal added to effect. The red chilli coconut chutney was awesome too. And the very small bowl of solkadi added tang to fire.
We also called for a Surmai thali which had a large piece of fried Surmai replacing the prawns sukke, and fish curry replacing the prawns curry in the above mentioned thali.
These two itself could have been sufficient for us. But greedy that I am, we decided to be a wee bit more venturesome and ordered for one keema masala too. Finely minced meat, with a sprinkling of green peas. Neither too oily nor too dry. And the meat retaining its flavor and not getting lost in the noise of other spices. Well made.

Highly recommendable.
